Temple Bridge is a traditional terminus to fiddle yard layout and is U shaped with the fiddle yard behind the scenic station. There are a number of storage roads in the fiddle yard together what amounts to an off scene locomotive depot complete with a turntable. The idea is the locomotive hauled trains can be assembled without the need to handle the locomotives or stock. When locomotive hauled trans arrive in the station at the front of the layout the stock will be shunted and the locomotive then be sent off scene to be turned before running back to the station to haul the next train.
